RECITAL "SOUNDS OF WATER" I Druskininkai city museum

"Sounds of Water"- is a virtuosic piano program, rich in timbre and evoking meditative serenity. The program showcases works from six composers: romantics F. Chopin and F. Liszt, French impressionists C. Debussy and M. Ravel, the picturesque M. K. Čiurlionis, and the diversely vivid Z. Bružaitė. Each piece is inspired by water – the essence of life – guiding a musical journey across lakes, seas, and oceans. The distinct language of each composition captures the emotions stirred by water: joy from witnessing a gushing spring or fountain, tranquility while gazing upon a serene lake's surface, thrill when sailing amidst a storm, and mystery when heeding the song of the mythical nymph Mermaid.
