The Full Story

Lithuanian-born pianist Milda made her solo debut at the Kaunas State Philharmonic at the tender age of ten, performing alongside the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra. Since then, she has strived to perform each piece on her pianistic path with deep devotion and precise technique. Milda's piano interpretations are characterized by both sensitivity and strong energy.

In recent years, Milda's solo and chamber concerts are important messages that she shares with listeners, performing traditional and contemporary classical music. She is constantly looking for new themes that unite the concert program and represent classical music in its most attractive form. "When I play," she shares, "I'm building bridges between the music and each listener."

Thus, her latest programs - "Sounding Water", "Reflections", and "True History" received much attention at international and national festivals in Lithuania: "Christopher Summer Festival", „Spring of Lithuanian Pianists“, "World Voices", "Musical Fridays in Gelgaudiškis". The pianist held recitals at the Kaunas State Philharmonic, Klaipėda Concert Hall, and Organum Concert Hall in Vilnius. Her performances were broadcast and recorded by the National Radio of Lithuania. Milda successfully performed on various stages in the Czech Republic, Finland, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Latvia.

In addition to her solo activities, the pianist actively performs as a chamber music performer with opera soloists, strings, and brass instruments. One of the more interesting musical experiences was the collaboration in the international festival with a chamber orchestra at the Teatro degli Avvalorant in Citta della Pieve, Italy.

Milda received a letter of thanks from the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, for her achievements in international competitions in the cities of Brno, Bucharest, and Vilnius.

Milda received her Master's degree in performance from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under the guidance of Professor Halina Radvilaitė. Through the Erasmus and Nordplus initiatives, she pursued studies at the Janaček Academy in Brno and the Sibelius Academy. The artist's musical journey was enriched by lessons with distinguished pianists including Prof. Mūza Rubackytė, Prof. Petras Geniušas, Prof. Jurgis Karnavičius, Prof. Jan Jirasky, Prof. Oliver Kern, Prof. Roland Krüger, Prof. Peter Donohoe.
